At Central Mountain Middle School we take pride in working to ensure all students enter the building feeling safe and welcomed everyday. During the 2023-24 school year we will be continuing to work to align our school goals to the KCSD Vision Statement, Mission Statement and Shared Values.
New at CMMS this year, there will be increased academic enrichment and intervention opportunities. New itinerant and elective offerings will be provided at all grade levels. In addition, our goals will include providing more frequent opportunities for students to participate in social emotional learning, clubs, intramurals, and academic enrichment/remediation programs. Students in 7th and 8th grade can choose to participate in PIAA sanctioned athletics/extra curriculars offered over the fall, winter, and spring.
At CMMS we are proud of our School-wide Positive Behavior Systems. Every student receives an ID badge at the beginning of the year and teachers reward students when we see our building expectations being met. Students can use their digital points throughout the year for grade level events, classroom prizes, and reservations at the Wildcat Bistro.
