At Central Mountain Middle School, our administrative team is committed to creating a school where every student feels valued, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential. We believe strong relationships, open communication, and high expectations are the foundation of student success. By partnering with families, empowering our staff, and keeping students at the center of every decision, we strive to foster a positive school culture where every student, every day, every possibility is more than a tagline—it's our commitment.

Ms. Laura Fragassi - Principal

Laura Fragassi is the Principal at Central Mountain Middle School.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6 from Penn State University, her

Masters of Education from Wilkes University, and her Administrative Certificate from Point Park University. Outside of school Laura enjoys spending time with her son. Their favorite activities include traveling, going to sporting events, and family game nights!

Laura brings to Central Mountain Middle School her experience in classroom instruction, instructional coaching experience, and leadership experience. She is passionate about  creating a positive and energetic environment for staff and students. She is excited to be a part of the CMMS team and bring her experience to continue to build a strong school environment for students and staff to thrive in every day.

Mr. Ryan Carty - Assistant Principal

Ryan Carty is the Assistant Principal at Central Mountain Middle School.  He obtained his Undergraduate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Penn State

University followed by his Master of Education degree from Edinboro University in Educational Leadership. Ryan is fully committed to making a difference in the lives of students, teachers, staff, and families that are a part of our school community as he strives to achieve his "all in" mentality in supporting students and staff in seeing individual success.


While at home with his family, Ryan enjoys playing with his two golden retrievers, golfing with friends, and watching Philadelphia sports teams (go birds...).
